BASILICA GRAPHITE
While many people look up to Michelangelo’s iconic ceiling murals at St. Peter’s Basilica, lest we forget the terrazzo flooring when you look down. The history of “terrazzo” which is an Italian name for terrace was born approximately 500 years ago when Venetian artisans started incorporating marble slab chips that had been abandoned into concrete mixtures. Terrazzo served as the inspiration for Basilica Graphite.
Basilica Graphite contains glossy chips in shades of black and dark grey on a surface with a matte feel. It is suitable for a broad range of interior and exterior applications, including flooring, interior and exterior wall cladding, furniture surfaces, and a wide range of landscaping applications for commercial or domestic projects.
