GLACIER BLU

Glaciers from the South Pole slowly descends toward the Ross sea, where the thick blanket of pure white ice meets with Antartica’s freezing waters. This rendesvouz of the same element creates an Ice Shelf, where ice continue to float and march for kilometers into the sea. Explorers from the 19th century discovered that to reach the South Pole, one must start from the Ross Ice Shelf, the biggest ice shelf in Antartica. Though it was once seen as ‘The Great Barrier’, it appears to be the beginning of a journey for later explorers to wander in wonder.
